Welcome to the David Forrest Memorial Tournament Page!

The tournament is to honour the memory of David Forrest, who passed away due to meningoccocal meningitis at the age of 15. David loved the game of baseball and displayed sportsmanship like no other.  His father, Denny Forrest, will honour us this weekend by throwing out our first and closing pitches and awarding the trophy at the end of the tournament.

To begin, we would like to Thank Denny Forrest for his continued support for Ladysmith Baseball Association. We share in his vision of good sportsmanship and team building.

We would also like to recognize all of our volunteers who help around the field. Thank you to the Tadpole coordinator Melissa, and our concession coordinator Sara, for making this weekend possible!

Ladysmith Baseball welcomes Chemainus Baseball to the tournament for a weekend of fantastic baseball.

Finally, a huge thank you to our sponsors who donated food and prizes for all of our players for this weekend!

The 2022 David Forrest Memorial Tournament is about to begin!

Starting Friday June 10th the kick off to the tournament begins with games between the U9 Chemainus and Ladysmith baseball teams.  The tournament runs all weekend long and will be filled with ball games, give away's and fun times.
